So much energy

Since finding out I was pregnant last wek I have had so much energy. Other than incredibly swolen and sore boobs, I am symptom free and I seem to have developed a nesting mechanism.
I am a creative designer and work from home. My workroom (during the day, dining room at night) has floor to ceiling shelving packed with beads, paints, drawing boards, sewing machines, fabrics etc and the creative materials have a habbit of spewing all over the house. The house is a squash and a squeeze at the best of times having three bedrooms and 5 of us already. I have just been attacking each room and sorting out. I am throwing away tons of stuff and I have lots of bits to put on free cycle..... normally I would see tidying up as a chore, but now it has a real purpose plus I don't know how long I will feel this good!

Not sure what happened to me, but a massive burst of energy has kicked in and I've been cleaning/sorting/throwing stuff away all day. It's great but I do wonder if I will be shattered tomorrow lol. Oh well......must make the best of it while it lasts.

Anyone else have an energy bust in your first trimester?

Not me. But I remember that when my sister got pregnant, she took care of all these big things. She got married, bought a house and finished her doctorate - all these things she'd only talked about doing for years and years.

So I was hoping I was going to somehow find the wherewithal to take care of some business. Nesting instinct overdrive. But nope, my days have been full of compulsively surfing baby info and napping.
