Have you delivered at NYU before, or is this your first time there? I moved from Roosevelt to NYU based on my friend's insistence. She SWEARS by it. The way she talks about her experience there makes me think she might try and rent a room there for her next vacation. HA HA! I don't know the difference between one birthing center and another, but since she was SOOO happy, I figured I'd go there. HA HA! It gets great reviews!

I actually meant (and wasn't very clear re-reading my post!) Sequenom will only run the Materniti21 test if you're high risk. Here's in link to the thread where I read that:

Anyone use Verinata Verify Test?

Seems kind of silly to me, but if that's the case, so far I would not meet their criteria to run the test. But you're right that my docs office will only call if something is wrong. I also don't like that even if it's standard. What if something is accidentally overlooked like you said?!

First time at NYU for me! First time anywhere actually, since it's our first baby. I have read mostly good things myself and some mixed reviews on Roosevelt. It's nice to hear another positive experience with your friend!

Oh, bummer you can't get the test, but good that you don't fall into high risk categorizes Yes, I read the same about Roosevelt and all good from NYU. I feel I'm in the best hands there
