I was a bride maid at a wedding yesterday was on my feet from 9 in the morning to 10 at night. When i went to the toilet at 9pm last night their was a little bit blood on the toilet roll paper when i wiped. Im 25 weeks 4 days pregnant today. When i phoned up triage they said that that should be fine only time i should worry is if i filled up a sanitary pad with blood. Has anyone else experienced this? Please help me by leaving a comment i was so scared something was going to happen to my baby.
It can be very common in pregnancy so try not to worry too much. If it was only a tiny bit then the advice you got is probably right although they could have been a little more supportive in their answer.
Just keep an eye on things and if you feel really concerned then call your midwife although i dont think you have anything to worry about.
I'm not as far along as you, but I had something similar happen to me last Wednesday, just the one spot of bright red blood on the tissue when I wiped. I went to the dr the next morning, they checked me for a urine infection and poked my belly a bit and decided there was nothing to worry about.
Had my 16 week check up yesterday and baby's heartbeat is fine! I think maybe I'd just lifted something too heavy which caused the spot. You've had a busy day so it's probably nothing, but you must get it checked out to be safe.
Hope it all turns out fine.
I have had 4 bleeding spells, from very light (only when i wipe) to very heavy. But with me its bc my placenta moved which is causing bleeding (but it has for 3 weeks). Maybe you just over did it yesterday. Thats a lot for any pregnant women. I don't know how you did it . I would say relax and take it easy. If you are scared i would go get checked out just to be sure. Thats what i have done EVERY time. I just am a person who needs that confirmation.
Thank you to everyone who has took the time to write back to me. I have had no more bleeding since but i also think it could be for a cut not to sure. I have felt the baby movement normal and i have listened to the babys heartbeat which sounds ok.
