A friend bought me the loveliest tea. It has lavender and coconut in it and rooibos. Partway through a cup I realized I should check it for safety and found half the stuff I found saying avoid lavender and half saying tea is ok!
I've also heard yes and no regarding using lavender in pregnancy and can't seem to find a definite answer. I think there just hasn't been enough research done to know for sure. My midwife said a cup of lavender tea here and there probably won't hurt you, but she wouldn't recommend using lavender essential oil which is a lot more concentrated, or drinking the tea very often. Like with everything else during pregnancy, it's probably fine in moderation.
