did anyone else feel really knocked out after the glucose test?

does it mean i most likely have GD if the test made me have to lie in bed all day?

No, it does not mean that. I was wiped out after that test, and my levels were great!

It made me sick. My husband and I went out to eat some real food after the test was done and it made me feel better. I haven't got my results yet but I always feel like this if I have too much sweets.

I felt really tired the rest of that day even though I ate, but I also had a flu shot that day and my rhogam shot, so I think that had a lot to do with me feeling wiped out.

I was horribly sick , dizzy, and exhausted and had a headache. But I didn't eat before/after so that might be why! I'm not sure what my results are yet.. have to wait another couple weeks for my appointment.

I have to go for this tomorrow. Do you have to be fasting before doing this test?

I was told to fast for 12 hours. I ate the night before at dinner, and that was it. My test was at 8am though, so i guess it all depends on when you should fast. Luckily my clinic does their GTT's for pregnant woman ONLY between 8-9am that way they arent fasting during the day and can at least sleep through the fasting.
