Oh For the past 3 weeks up until about 3 or 4 days ago, baby was really active, he'd go mental everyday and kick me LOADS! But for the past 3 or 4 days I get 1 or 2 kicks a day and that's all I had my 20 week scan yesterday and told her this but she said everything was fine....so why isn't he giving me kicks anymore? It upsets me so much!
I had the same concern and brought it up with the ultrasound tech at the 20 week sono, but she assured me HE was fine, and he even did some flips during the scan.
Now, for whatever reason, he's back to his normal, bouncy self.
I can only assume he was just super relaxed for a few days, lol
I also was worried about the same thing 2 weeks ago. Up untill my 20 week scan baby would move all the time. I had my scan and for 2 days after that all I felt were 3 or 4 small wiggles a day. It worried me, but on the 3rd day he was up and ready to go again. Ever since then he has been non-stop. He is very active. I would have to agree with aimee-lou. The baby is probably going through a growth spurt. He/she should get busy soon.
Thanks ladies, it just really upsets me I love his kicking so much and it worries me and makes me wanna cry! I hope he goes back to his normal self soon. I haven't really been doing anything strenuous so I'mhoping you're all right. Sonographer said he was moving around and it was just me not feeling it.... funny how I felt it continuosly for 3 weeks and now hardly at all though
This is really common.
Some days there will be a lot of moving, other days there won't.
He might be kicking around while you sleep and you aren't even feeling it because you are sleeping!
If it makes you feel better, try lying down and relaxing to get him to do some tricks for you That might just start him up!
