Wild Pregnancy Brain... haha good times!

I just wanted to share my funny experiences, cause I am so brain dead lately I can't help but laugh at myself. Yesterday was just priceless. It starts off by baby moving around so much it wakes me at 2:30am and doesn't relent, so therefore I lay around hoping to catch some more sleep but it doesn't happen. 7:30am I pop out of bed in need of getting ready, I get to the train- almost get lost getting there- not sure how I managed that since I've been going there for 3 yrs but OK!! HAHA. I get through the work day, seamlessly for the most part. Heartburn for me is ONLY cured by chewing gum, not sure why- but it works, so I'll stick to it. I get on the train at 5pm which is when the fun starts. I start to read my magazine and realize I can't remember where my wallet is- I am searching and start feeling my heart race as I just can't find it. After a good 3mins of internally freaking out, I remember it's under my leg so I could show the train personnel my pass!!!! HAHA good job there! Get into my car drive out of the parking lot and race home- only to get a call from OH stating he has an errand for his grandfather to run and he'll be back in a bit, we'll go grocery shopping (its been 3 weeks, we were in need). So... he gets home, I am on the couch and can't find my chocolate milk that I want to bring for the ride and I am on the verge of a mental loss again cause I KNOW I just had it... well I search upstairs and down, only to find out it was on the coffee table in front of me the WHOLE time. HAHA NICE! We get to the grocery store, shopping for a bit and I walk away from my OH to look at the fruit section while he's in produce selecting that stuff. I put my elbows on the cart and just watch him, he bursts out laughing- I'm leaning on some other lady's cart- I didn't bring my purse with me and didn't look at the cart, just knew it was close to me and assumed it was ours. NIIICE!!! Kinda embarassed there. We get through the store and I don't know what it's like for you all, but grocery shopping is like a kid in a candy store for me. I'm grabbing all these things that look GREAT. I was on craving overload, I wanted this and that and a side of those too! I bought things I've never had before but they looked so good I couldn't resist. POOR OH! He just laughed the entire way through the store, as I'd leave him in remembrance of what we saw 3 isles back! oops! Then we load the truck, go home and I put the stuff away. He starts to make dinner (he's the chef in my house, I'm the maid). I am in between the kitchen/living room talking to him and watching various shows (mostly Food Network!! It's always been a passion of ours, which pregnancy for me has increased!) SO... I start yet again going insane trying to find the remote cause the Boston Red Sox are playing and I want to see some of the game... can't find the remote. I'm going frantic, then I remember... it's on the back of the couch, which butts up to the wall to the kitchen, as I used it for a table while I stood to talk to OH. We eat, great dinner... then I get tired, he sees me drifting off to sleep and says let's go to bed (we normally go to bed together, it's just something we tend to do). So I grab my phone adn head up, thinking I grabbed my water bottle too I get into bed, only to realize I didn't have it -when looking at my night stand... out of bed I go, I get it and to sleep I went.

What a freaking day... I just thought it was hysterical, my mind was all over the place... I think it's cause I have 4 days until we find out gender and so my brain is RACKED. We have sorta decided on names, Boy- Ethan & Girl- Shaylyn. I LOVE THEM, so does OH. I'm lucky- OH really has the same tastes as me accept he wants the name Liam for a boy and theres no chance in hell I want it, nice name I guess- but it's just not my style and I have heard it so many times it's too common for me. I want something a little different, I LOVE Callum for a boy too- which he likes as well. We're waiting to hear the gender then the name search is really on. Right now it's just we say different ones and "try them on" to see if we like them, but Tuesday we will be starting to actually be serious in narrowing the selection... I love the nickname Shay for a girl, so I want that incorporated somehow...

LOL, you've just made me smile for the day
I've only had 2 cases of 'pregnancy brain' so far- I put my OH expensive Carte D'Or lemon sorbet in the fridge instead of the freezerr, thus ruining it for him (he wasn't impressed, whereas I thought it was quite amusing!) & when I was at work the other week, I wrote a big old report on one of my service users, and at the end of the report I put 'Sam has had such a great week, we are really pleased with him.' Which was funny, because the report was about a boy called Luke!!! Needless to say I had to rewrite the whole damn report, much to my manager's laughter.

it just cracks me up... feels like I'm so dumb which just makes me laugh at myself- nothing else you can do, usually I'm the serious one and my OH is the jokester... so we're both having a BLAST laughing at me.

Nothing will ever beat our "fart moment." I was raised in a home where farts were a private matter and my OH's motto is "farts equal funny." So, I hadn't really farted consciously infront of him in the 3 yrs we had been together- was hoping to keep it that way. WELL... pregnancy changed that. We were on the couch watching tv and I was holding it in, trying to just let the gas go away. (sorry for TMI). Well it didn't work and I farted, so I was all red in the face as it's not something I'm "proud" of haha- I get up and my OH is trying not to laugh. He grabs my belly as I go to walk by him to excuse myself from the slight embarassment and he kisses my belly then says "aww baby farts make mommy funny"............... I was not amused, but he could barely speak he was laughing so hard...

LOL..yes, these stories pretty much sound like a day in my life.
I have come home twice from the grocery and informed DH that I am no longer allowed to shop alone while pregnant.
I end up bringing home about 10 different types of sweets without even realizing I am buying so many!
Last few times we've gone he's been scolding me about all the bakery stuff I pick up!
Hilarious because it all ends up in the cart anyway!!!

Irish baby, I am coming over to snack at your house!! I love all sweets at the moment and just bought myself a tub of Hummus this week. I dont know if you get it up in Mass (I am in NJ) but the Sabra Hummus is A-Maz-ing! Seriously, it is to die for. Sooooo creamy! Just a thought..

Neway, I keep leaving my car keys in the front door and when I try to leave i can NEVER find them. it is getting really bad. I seriously am doing it TWICE or more a day. Not funny anymore. Not to mention that someone could easily steal my car or get into my house. I did it OVERNIGHT last night!!! ugggh
