I've been having mild contractions about 10 minutes apart at 25 weeks pregnant. I work at a hospital and when the nurse noticed I wasn't feeling good she sent me to their ob suite to get checked the monitor picked up small contractions. I called my ob and she told me to go home rest and drink fluids and hope they go away if they don't or if they get worse I need to go back in. Is it normal to start having contractions this early?
That must've been scary. Are they gong now or do you still have them? It's not normal to get contractions that early. If they won't go away they'll probably give you meds to make them go away.
Hope you're feeling better!
I ended up going to the hospital they took me to the OB and put me on monitors to check out the contractions. They ended up having to give me a medicine to stop the contractions. It wasn't a fun night at all!!
I had that at 30 weeks with my son, thankfully i was already in hospital at the time for another matter regarding the pregnancy, they gave me steriods for his lungs incase and something to try stop the contractions. Thankfully they stopped but after that my son didnt come until he was induced 2 weeks after due date.
