VERY active baby?!

does anyone else have a seriously active baby? My little boy has been kicking me so much recently that I have been a bit worried. Last night my stomach was literally jumping all over the place for an hour. I'm 26+6 and have friends who are only just starting to feel movemement so just wanted to check this was normal!! My placenta is high and at the back so i'm sure this is to do with it but all the books make it sound like you will feel very occasional movement and mine happens all the time!!

thanks x

Our baby seems to be pretty active too, and I have a placenta placement just like yours. I feel it much more when i am sitting, which is all the time as I work in an office.

Mine is very active also, I feel him/her everyday for at least 45 minutes mostly at night. Most of it is when I am sitting or laying down.

Yup, Im 26weeks today with placenta at the back. Past couple of days the movements have been so strong and regular that it is startin to wind me up!!! Hehe. I try to eat my breakfast and he just wants me to spill the milk everywer. I do enjoy the movements as it is special, but the amount he moves and the strength can kinda go through me, resulting in me makin silly noises!!! Hehe. I didnt realise how much I was gona feel him move either. Ahh well, can only be a good thing I think!! (Think mine may have ADHD in the womb....!!!) xxxx

Don't know the position of my placenta, but my little one seems to be very active too at the moment.
It's not really full on kicks I'm getting, just an awful lot of flutterings. It's picked up over the past week. I've felt it since 17 weeks, but it's picked up loads recently.
I'm dreading what it'll feel like when it finds it's feet, ha ha

Andrea xx

I have an anterior placenta and LO moves about all of the time - I get kicks low down, right on my belly button and up high. She only seems to sleep after 1am and around lunchtime. Im sat now getting a good bashing... Im dreading when these kicks & wriggles get stronger!
Its strange as I was told by mw an anterior placenta means I am unlikely to feel kicks etc for a while longer and then not as strong But Ive felt them since 19 weeks and OH feels her everyday.
