3 Pieces of advice!

I went to pick up a moses basket stand today that i won on ebay....

We picked it up from a lovely lady who had 2 sons who were so cute!

When we arrived she said "wheres your baby?"
so i patted my bump and said "in here"

she was suprised when i told her how far along i was as i am small!
she then insisted it was a boy!
that was the first person to say what they think id have!

Anyway....
she then gave me some advice which we thought bizarre at first as it was the first time and the last time we'd meet her but hey!

the advice was:

Buy lots and lots of nappies- you'll need them.

If your breastfeeding, give it time, it DOES feel odd in the begginning.

And when it comes to the birth, push like your having a poo and baby will just pop out!

We went away thinking this lady was pretty upfront bearing inmind we'd never met her but actually she was honest and the advice was quite welcome as she had been through the experience twice!

So ladies, heed the advice above, i thought id share it with u!

Id say thats good advice on all three! I did push like I had to poo but only because I didnt know what else to try pushing like and he popped right out! and the breastfeeding was the weirdest feeling but I also got used to it in the very small amount of time I did it. my son didnt do well with breastfeeding so he was completley weaned at 2 months I hope to make it longer this time round.

It does feel like you are having the worlds biggest poo It is kind of involuntary though in my experience, you just have to push!

I've heard all of those before. I think it's valuable advice. We've already started buying diapers (nappies) in various sizes and sensitivities so we'll be stocked up by the time Bella gets here. I figure what we can't use (because of sensitivity or size) we can turn around and sell on eBay or return for exchanges.
