Nausea after eating

I had MS until I was 11 weeks and haven't had it since. A week ago I had Norovirus, which is also known as winter vomiting bug. I threw up every 30 mins and had diarrhea all day over Monday last week. By Tuesday I was fine.

Since Thursday, I have noticed I feel sick every time I eat something. I'll feel totally fine and will have breakfast, lunch or dinner then will have to lie down because I feel so nauseated.

It's odd because it's the opposite from when I had MS, then I felt sick if I didn't eat and felt better while eating and after eating.

Has anyone else experienced this? I currently have a very stressful and upsetting situation in my life (which I have discussed on the parenting forum) and while I'm definitely a positive person, it involves my son so I'm wondering if that may be the cause? There's nothing else I can think of.

I also have strange palpitations and have been very very thirsty but I'm thinking that's me still recovering from not being able to keep water down for the 15 hours I was throwing up.

Have you had a glucose tolerance test? I had this off and on while pregnant with my son, and I've had it off and on this time. Although it's not likely, it could be a sign of gestational diabetes. With me, it's just how my body handles the hormones! So, just get checked out to be 100% sure - I'm sure you'll all right, but be safe. I hope you feel better and that whatever your situation is, it calms down and works out the way you want it to. I'll be thinking of you.

I'm scheduled to get it at 28 weeks I think. I'll have to check my maternity notes to be sure.

GD hadn't occurred to me. I didn't have it with my son and the nausea has come on all of a sudden.

I have my 24 week appt on Thurs so I'll def mention it to the midwife.

Thank you

Ugh I've been having this on and off the whole pregnancy. I only feel really sick after eating. I have it for a few days and then it goes and then it comes back again etc etc. I have to lie down as well otherwise I throw up or start dry heaving. I have no idea if there's anything that triggers it, but tiredness seems to make it worse.
Hope it goes soon
Xxx
