Still not feeling movement yet and getting depressed..

I know for a first baby its very normal not to feel baby until closer to 20-22 weeks, but at my private ultrasound at 16 weeks 4 days the tech was amazed at how much she was moving around, and kept telling me " You will be feeling her any day now!" My Dr said the exact same thing when she listened to her heartbeat on the doppler, she could here my little girl kicking and punching and rolling around like crazy in there. Plus, I can hear kicks and movements on my own doppler every say, so I know she is fine, I just feel so depressed because I WANT TO FEEL HER!!

Honestly, I feel like crying just writing this because after two losses last year I have been so cautiously excited about everything in this pregnancy, and I feel like I have already reached so many milestones ( Heartbeat for the first time, first ultrasound, 12 weeks, finding out its a GIRL, etc.), and the next one is feeling her move, and she is so STUBBORN!! Even when we had the private ultrasound, she was so stubborn and had her butt planted in my pelvis, refused to show her lady parts until I literally had to flip flop several times on the table!

I just want to feel her. I know I am probably being over emotional right now, but I can't help it.

I didn't feel anything real until about 20 + weeks. However, in hindsight I was feeling her but wrote the little movements off as wind. So perhaps you aren't recognising the little movements either.

Also, I found out last week that I have an anterior placenta which acts as a cushion between myself and bub. They are extremely common by the way. At my last appointment, the midwife was checking the bub's heartbeat and she heard a huge kick which I couldn't feel at all!

Don't stress, I did and everything is fine.

I'm 20+4 and I haven't felt any kicks yet either! But have been using my Doppler and HB is there which makes me feel a little bit more comfortable!

I also have gas bubble feelings that COULD be baby, but I'm not sure. I have an ultrasound on Thursday so I will make sure to ask the position of my placenta. That would make sense! Thank you

From what you say I do believe it could be any day. I felt first movements during 18 weeks and did not realise it was baby at first. Till I got to 20 weeks I only felt the odd kick during the day but these last 2 weeks its been several times a day.
I notice t kicks mainly when I wake up, when I chill on the sofa in the evenings and not long after getting in bed. Try to concentrate on it around these times....everyone is different though but just thought I would share with you how it's been for me

I didn't feel bubbles, butterflies or popcorn like movements! Absolutely nothing until 19+5 weeks, my husband felt her at 20+4 and I've been able to watch my tummy move the last week or so! Your wait for ages and then it will all happen at once! I honestly think it will be ANY day now, you must be sick of hearing it now though! I find if I have a nice warm bath with a glass of orange or something fizzy then I feel her loads! Can't wait to see your post about feeling her move!

Dont worry, it will come fast once it does. I was feeling the same way at that time.

I didn't feel the baby until the day before my 20 wk scan, I was 20 weeks 3 days.

Now I feel all out kicks and my hubby and son are feeling him all the time. My belly moves and everything.
