Hi hun,
Do you mean because of the horse meat scandal? There is nothing unsafe about horse meat. Other European countries eat it by choice - mainly France i think?! It's just that in England it's not done...
Adrian has had them before and i wouldn't not buy them for him.
Dont worry, chances are they have no horse meat in them and even if they do, there'll be no harm done to your little ones.

This was my concern in another thread I started a few days ago. I don't give a monkeys about horse being in the food, it's the drugs they may have been pumped with that concern me, specifically bute which should not enter the food chain.

If the tests for bute come back positive, let's hope the quantities were very small.

x

Don't worry, it will be fine. You had no idea so you can't blame yourself. In any case, I believe the crispy pancakes were found not to have been affected - just the lasagnes.

xx

i'm sure it was just the lasagnes that were found with horse meat, not the pancakes

The levels of bute would not be big enough to cause any harm. It's just the media sensationalising the story to make it even worse. The worrying thing is the deceitful way in which it was labelled. That's all, so please don't worry
