Buggies/car seats - so confusing! Would love to know your thoughts....

Hi all

We went "baby shoppingg" this weekend to try and choose a pushchair/car seat combi for baby.

We are trying to get something easy to fold/put together (pushchair)/something that will go onto an isofix base (car seat) - preferably one that you can use the same base for size 0 and size 1 seat.

The one we are currently leaning towards is the Maclaren XLR, it seems to be easy to put up/down, lightweight and will last until baby's 15kg (which I think is about 2 yrs old). The matching car seat has an isofix base, so it seems to tick all the boxes.

The only thing I'm not keen on is that it's always forward facing unless you use the carrycot (which is tiny) or car seat on it.

What's anyone else decided on? Do you know anyone that has this and loves it/hates it?

Views would be appreciated as I'm just a bit lost! Thanks ladies x

Yeah - that's what I'm not sure of, unless you have them in the car seat/carry cot they are facing the world, not you.

I just don't know......
