Where is the glow?

Is anyone else experiencing issues with spots? I don't just mean pimples I am talking angry red break outs on face and back....

I didn't experience this in my teenage years or with my first pregnancy.....

Also feeling run down generally tired early evening then the insomnia kicks in just about now!

Aaaaarrrggghhh where is my 2nd trimester glow

YES!!! I've had a few dreadful breakouts. I'm talking craters. I didn't have particularly problem skin as a teenager so it was fairly new to me too. It's not too bad at the min but I can feel a fresh one brewing on my chin. This is our first so I can't compare! It's so embarrassing!

I am the same way! Except it's on my upper chest, right above where most shirts lie. So I can't really hide it except with a scarf. I also get them along my jaw and on my neck. Big ol' bright red, painful ones. Oh the joys

Hey lizzemc, great name even if I do say so myself.....

Sailed through 1st Tri so think this is my punishment for thinking I was getting an easy time of it. Problem is makeup can make it look worse and I end up looking run down

Might be just the excuse I need to invest in some expensive makeup....

Make up might make it worse.

How about going for a soothing facial to soothe the redness and skin.

Might have to do it regularly but will be worth it x

I'm not keen on my make up free reflection at the best of times so to go to work with minimal coverage would be quite stressful for me....

Like the facial idea might give it a go

Me too! Ugh! I probably had 5 pimples in my life before this pregnancy. It's my first as well. I only seem to get them on my forhead/along my hair line but they're terrible. Huge, painful craters. Not feeling so beautiful.

I have had horrible pregnancy acne and struggled since day 1 of BFP. My face was pretty clear before getting pregnant. I've talked to my doctor about it a few times and she always just recommended just washing my face thoroughly with baby safe products. Today she finally told me to go to a dermatologist who can prescribe baby safe anti-bacterial topical cream. I have an appt. with the dermatologist in two weeks, so fingers crossed!
