This is crazy lol I WISH I could join this thread as not gaining much if anything! I can't stop gaining! I was up 18 pounds at my last visit and I'm only 14w5d... I was going to ask you for tips but it sounds like your all trying to gain but not gaining so im sure I won't find any good weight "slow down" tips.

Consider yourselves VERY luck to be in your shoes!!! I envy you all lol

I gained 5 pounds in the first 8 weeks but since lost 1 pound and am having a hard time gaining. I had bad ms and still do at times and still have food aversions although I do get hungry about every 2-3 hours but can't eat a whole lot at once. I will not complain seeing as with my 2 boys I gained a lot of weight and all pretty much after the 5-6 month mark.

I didn't really gain any weight either. I was 4lbs down at 20 weeks still. The MFM told me I had to add some extra protein snacks and lay down more to try to put on some weight. I've put on a bit now, but still haven't gained any in 2 weeks (am down 2lbs from what I was 2 weeks ago actually).

I havent gained anything either. I started at 75kg, and at 20 weeks, am weighing 69kg. I haven't changed anything hugely with my diet, im not exercising much at all and didnt have MS much either. I just dont understand it.
My midwife isnt concerned yet, and at my anatomy scan, our little boy was measuring a week ahead so he is still growing fine. Its so strange!

I weighed myself at the weekend and I weigh exactly the same as pre pregnancy It's so weird, but this point last time I was piling on the pounds. I suppose I am a little "fluffier" this time round but honestly I was so worried i'd pile it on just like last time. Throughout 1st tri I just didn't want food, barely ate. Now my appetite is back but I get full so quickly I can't stomach a full meal.

So weird

I stopped weighing myself when we were having fertility treatment, because I knew I'd gone off the wagon and probably put on some weight and just didn't need the stress in my life right then!

But at my first doctor's appt (probably around 9 weeks), he weighed me at 86kg. Yesterday I was 83.

It's not a huge loss, and honestly, I'll probably lose more, because in addition to the 2 months of constant nausea I had, I have a chest infection now and my food aversions have returned. Yesterday at the grocery store I bought apples, grapes, tropicana and yoghurt because they were the only things I was interested in eating.

I'm not worried, I have it to lose, and it's early days. As my boss says, "Babies are parasites -- they'll get what they need. You being a freak about food is only hurting you."

Today I'm incredibly weak. Started oral steroids for my chest yesterday so I thought I'd be feeling a bit wired, but my arms are so weak I can't even type for long. I know I need to eat, but everything looks like poison to me for some reason.

And seriously, this is depressing me. I love food and cooking. A quick dinner here is a roast chicken dinner with potatoes and veg! I make my own pasta and sauces and am kind of famous for my lasagne. lol Not liking food is actually bringing me down in ways I can't even explain.

The weight loss is not bothering me so much!

Im sort of the same - at my last weigh in I was exactly the same as my booking in weight (which was the same as my weight 12 months before). I've been eating a lot, just not gaining!

Midwife didn't seem too concerned - although she did say that she'll keep an eye on it as my fundal height was on the big side last time she measured it. She said that a lot of women lose the weight as the baby grabs all the nutrients they need before you get yours...

I haven't weighed myself in a couple of weeks though so it could all change!

dr appt today, no worries on his end on this issue

in the last 8 weeks I have lost 6 pounds. He said if it was less than 10 lbs a MONTH he was not concerned (i am currently 232 lbs). He said my morning sickness (still continuing now) plus eating smaller portions as I get full quicker is attributing to weight loss. Baby is measuring fine so all good on this issue for me. I would ask your doctor if you are concerned though.
