OMG I feel the exact same way!!!! This is my last also, and I'd like time to speed up a. Little bit I love the labor process also! And I keep looking at third trimester threads and very excited for all their posts that they are starting labor, but also a little jealous! Hehehe
I'm super happy I'm not the only one who feels this way!

What day are you due in September??
Haha, yep! No cleaning afterwards. Luckily we have a birthing centre 5mins from my flat so I can wait until fairly late to head there. I havent talked it through with my midwife yet but I am sure she'll be happy with my choices.

I am due Sept 18th

I wish they could just hand me my little boy and that would be that. Maybe for different reasons though - pregnancy does not agree with me, I'm sick all day every day, faint, I can NOT enjoy this at all. I'm not afraid to say I HATE being pregnant. I was hopeful this time around would be better (as the first time was like this too and you know "every pregnancy is different) but it seems just something about my body does not agree with it somewhere along the line so I have to be in and out of hospital appointments scans and such. I think I might enjoy it if not for this. But that's my reason for wanting my baby NOW lol.
As for labour - my first I was induced, it took a day or so to "get going" but from first real contraction to baby being in my arms was an hour! I would quite happily just have an hour again. I'm not scared about it, because it means my son is on his way lol.

A long way to go though, I mostly commented to say I share in your impatience! This is the last time I'm doing it (in theory) we only want the 2 children, so I would have liked to have "savoured" pregnancy but honestly I just can't wait to be in that delivery room!

Seriously, I can honestly understand what you mean about being sick all the time and your body not liking being pregnant! Let me tell you, when I got pregnant this time, I told OH that I would have morning sickness so bad that I wouldn't be able to leave my bed for weeks. Second trimester is usually the only kind time for me.

HOWEVER...that being said, you could understand my shock when this time around, pregnancy was for the most part very kind to me!!! I had a little morning sickness..even times where I had to stay in bed but no where even close to what I have ever experienced.

I do feel your pain so much!

Last time I had severe sickness, dehydration caused by that, gestational diabetes, something wrong with my liver, pre-eclampsia and some other stuff (I honestly was so ill I don't remember half of it). My doctor never listened to me or hubby so they never tested for most of this, it was only when I was taken to hospital at 36 weeks that we found out my kidneys were failing and they induced me right there and then, with just the clothes I was wearing, nothing else, no baby stuff on me or even clothes for me! That was one hell of a panic I swear! This time around seems to be heading the same way already, I think I'll be pretty much bed rested by the end of it lol.

I'm so glad your pregnancy is kind to you this time around I do envy people who don't get ill, but I'm happy for them also.

On another note: Upon perusing the site for a large amount of the past few days I've seen many posts by you, and you are an absolutely lovely person! All of your replies to people are so very nice, it makes me smile even if I've no interest in the particular topic, just to see someone that genuinely nice lol.

Sorry that last bit was random :P

I find labour and birth exhilerating, and enjoy it. But I want to enjoy every moment of this pregnancy in case its my last.
