Any other 'older' ie 40+ mums?

Have been reading posts on this site for months now and have seen mums referring to themselves as 'no spring chicken' when they are in their mid to late 30s. Am I the only 'geriatric' mum around? I'll be 43 when LO arrives in Feb.

I'm not particularly worried (well maybe a little bit) because fortunately for me I didn't need medical intervention to get pregnant (although I did when I was 25 bizzarely). Would just like to talk to others in a similar situation. My other 'baby' will be 17 in January so as my midwife said I'm like a first timer all over again.

Thanks, C xx

Vicky, I was convinced I was having twins too. Know what you mean about the IVF question. I thought I was menopausal at first!

Vicky,
Just 1 at 15 weeks, thought they'd be all over me this time but don't seem at all worried. Had dating scan at 8+4 (had had slight bleeding) but next appointment wasn't until 16 weeks.

BabyHaines,
I might be 40+ but I know exactly what you mean, some say I act like a 12year old too!

Thanks for all your replies xx
