I was laying on my stomach until it became troublesome to do so. If it is not uncomfortable to you, I am sure LO is just fine too. Trust me, you will know when it is no longer feasible to lay that way.

You are very lucky to still be able to lie on your tummy ! I don't think it should be a problem but very soon you will have to find another position..or it will feel like you lying on a beach ball. I do know for sure that you aren't suppose to lie flat on your back..

I second that about you being VERY lucky you can still do it: I LOVE stomachs sleeping, but too uncomfortable now...

Yes, but only by about 30 weeks OR if too uncomfortable (or experiencing numbness etc) beforehand.

Personally sleeping is a pain for me now... think it is the hassle/discomfort of turnign from one side to another... I need to move (staying in one position for too long is just plain uncomfortable), but moving is also a pain

QT

Is sleeping on your right hand side ok too? I usually sleep on my stomach but have taken to sleeping on my right. I've heard the things about it not being best for bloodflow to the placenta but surely if I'm comfy it can't be doing that much damage?

my doctor said laying on your sides and on your tummy is perfectly fine if it is comfortable to you. The only position she is worried about is laying flat on your back. The baby won't get enough oxygen. I wish I could lay on my tummy still... I've got to much of a hump going on!

I can some times feel comfortable on my right hand side, but its mostly only when im lying on my stomach that i feel totally comfortable and able to sleep. Bit of pain in the bum because im getting bigger now so im scared incase i hurt the baby or anything

it is not uncomfortable as such for me to ly on my stomach as i put my bum up a bit more and just work around the bump, but i ALWAYS wake up with baby kicking the absolute **** out of me as he clearly dosnt like it!
OR
maybe he is just awake and wants to play.... (wishful thinking hey???)
