Yes, more because I feel guilty on the baby having its birthday so close to Christmas. I don't think anyone wants a Christmas Day birthday but its gonna happen to some of us!
Going by your ticket you should be fairly safe no?x

Me I am due Xmas eve and it would be the worst day to go into labour I already know I have to stay in 24 hours and I desperately don't want to miss my other two opening their presents on Xmas morning or having to have Xmas dinner in hospital xxx

I definitely am worrying about this! I went 11 day over with my DD and that was being induced.. My due date is the 17th so if I go a week over then I'll be in labour or hospital christmas day in an ideal world I will come on my due date lol but that's most probably unlikely! My OH isnt always home for christmas because of his job (oil rig worker) so is really like us to have a noRmal christmas day as next year he is away! X

Hiya just wanted to add my personal experience i was due with my first baby 18th December 2011 but ended up going overdue and went into labour on Christmas morning, but honestly it was absolutely fine and there was definitely benefits! On the way to hospital the roads were dead so I got to the hospital twice as fast as I would usually, also I had more attentive care from the midwifes as they weren't as busy as they had no elective caesarians or inductions booked in for Xmas day or boxing day, this also meant that I got a private room free of charge after giving birth. And the car park was free aswell lol. I ended up having my daughter in the early hours of Boxing Day so she still ended up with a separate birthday and we celebrated Xmas and had our dinner on 27th instead Definately was a positive experience for me so hope that's put your mind at ease a little x

I'm due Xmas Day and I have to admit it worries me, I don't like the idea of going into labour and you'll basically have a maternity unit staffed by people who would rather be at home celebrating the day with their loved ones! I know that's probably daft but I can't help it!
