How often do you feel your baby move?

Hi gals!

My baby is usually very active and i feel her moving several times a day...but for the last couple of days it seems shes been more asleep than awake... do you think this is normal??? How often do you feel your babies moving??? Are there days where you dont feel them at all?

Maybe im just worrying too much...

Anyways...thanks!!

Since about 20 weeks I have felt my LO move pretty much most of the day every day, that being said there have been a couple o days where I haven't felt anything until the end of the day that was when I was about 22 weeks I think.. From what I've read, it is very normal for your baby to have days like this it's only really 3rd trimester when you should try and make note of movement. All is fine don't worry yourself she's probably changed positions making it harder to feel her! X x

Thank you so much, that gives me a little peace of mind, at least enough until its time for my next scan

I agree with the other poster. I'm sure all is fine and it's very normal to have some quiet days this early. I'm about as week behind you and I still don't feel my bean move every day. And even when I do feel him, it's just a few times a day. Yesterday for example, I didn't feel him at all until last evening and then it was only a few kicks. And today has been very similar. I've felt a couple of light kicks this morning and that's it. It's not until the third trimester that we should really start to worry and even then you should only worry if your baby's pattern changes. With my son, I never felt as much movement as I've seen some people say they feel. I was lucky to feel my son a few times a day. But that was just him - a lazy baby!!

I'm 22 weeks with twins and past week started to feel more activity- but not consistent. Yesterday I had a scan and was told I have both anterior placentas which can soften kicks. Actually, my less active baby went from head down to breech during the scan and I didn't feel it lol so it helps me feel better

Maybe thats whats going on with us too.... because I do feel her moving, just nost as actively as the days before.... And Ive also noticed what youre saying, sometimes during the scans i see my baby doing gymnastics in there and I dont feel a thing....

Am pleased to see this question pop up, as I've experienced the same. Last couple of weeks the baby has been really active, went to 20week scan on Sunday and now I've not felt much at all. Common sense is telling me that perhaps baby has decided to face the other way for a bit, but it still is worrying.
January Jellybean here too!
