Where to begin... I've had the 2 weeks from hell :( (sorry long post)

I've been MIA for a couple weeks
Scanned some threads but haven't been posting or replying. Sorry

To some thisau seem trivial but I'm just now starting to feel a little better
A couple weeks ago I moved 2 of my 4 horses home to try to save a little $. We haven't moved into the farm yet but are renting the barn until we move in. They didn't settle in as well as I had hoped.
Then 5 days after I moved them one of the others that is still boarded out go sick. I got a panicked call from the barn owner and vet was called right away.
My hubby and mom have been awesome and were helping me do farm chores ect as I was still working and some I can't physically do any more.
Well hubby stepped up and drove me down to deal with the sick horse. (He isn't a horse person but is now due to me) while there the other starts acting funny.
All settled and left there at midnight. Had the leave home at 6am to meet the vet there again In the morning. Hubby did horse chores for me.
Well she wasn't better in the morning and we had to ship her to an equine hospital for IV fluids and treatment.
I had to go on my own because of the other 2 at home

Well fast forward a few days... The other 2 still not settled and stressing me out, horse sick in hospital, and I have a recertification course for work which I failed luckily passed my retest but yup add to the stress.

We moved the other 2 back to the boarding barn as I just couldn't cope anymore and mentally had enough and was crying nightly over everything.

The sick horse is now home and thankfully insurance covered her bill. Wast cheap at all

I was just starting to settle back down a little and not be so stressed out... 2 days ago had my ultrasound and baby is breech, explains the kicking my colon all the time, and now the tech isn't sure the gender. Didn't look boy on he screen by she couldn't rule it out his time.
Not that it really matters but I was excite for a girl. Hubby has now agreed to a 3d scan this weekend

Sorry forthw dumping of everything. I've just been a mess lately and feel like such a failure at everything.

I don't really have a lot of reality on keeping horses but I do know that it is a lot of work, and I can imagine that being so stressful with trying to keep up with a move, sickness, etc. Sorry to hear your baby is breech! Maybe if the tech was not sure there is still chance for girl? Are you okay with it if it if baby is a boy? Stress any time sucks but stress during pregnancy is the worst. I hope you're able to find some ways to help yourself relax, and it's good that your hubby is taking over some of the duties you had to do before! More things like that

Omg I'm so sorry!

So glad the sick horse is better...I'm guessing colic? My mare passed away 2/9/07 from impaction/colic (my mom leased her out without my consent when I wasn't living at home, and the lady didn't sand blast), and I can only imagine how stressed and upset that alone had made you. Were the other 2 barnsour? That stinks that after all that time they didn't settle. I wonder if once you have time to keep them occupied they will do better?

I'm so sorry about all the bad luck...*fingers crossed* your 3D scan shows a girl! At least you are still early enough to possibly try and turn her over (her for good luck! lol)...aren't there moves you can do? lol

Also, can you re-do the cert? Hopefully things look up for you!!

I can sympathize. We have a farm and it's just been one thing after another here. Last week one of the horses came up lame and I thought I was going to have a nervous breakdown. She was fine after a few days but it seems like it never ends. I hope things get better for you.

The one that was sick has actually had colic surgery but t was 7 years ago. She had a random bout of colitis. No idea on cause yet. May never know.

The 2 that came home are used to a busy barn with lots of action around. My new place they were the only 2 so they hurt weren't happy. Also all 4 are used to being together so I'm sure that didn't help.

Hoping breech baby turn itself.

I'll be ok with a boy. Just always hoped for a girl. There is definitely still a chance it is a girl. I've seen lots o baby boy pics and t didn't look like t at all but I can't say what it is

The tech actually said to us "maybe stay yellow". Even she didn't know.

Hubby waste supportive than ever while the horses were home. Surprised me fully.
I'm more relaxed now that all 4 are back at the boarding barn until after baby now. One less thing on my plate.

Just seem to be anxiety ridden worse than normal lately.
Thankfully I see my dr Friday so I am going to talk to him about it all too

Lots of time Medic for bubba to move around
I feel your pain on the horsey side of things! went to check my TB gelding at the spelling agistment he was at in late September. (The agismtnent is 4 hours South from us, we have bare paddocks here during summer) The lady had told me he was in great condition and all was well. Pfft!! I returned the next day with the float! Absolutely shocking, they obviously weren't feeding him let alone checking him

He is slowly gaining weight now back at home.

Outside picture is the day I brought him home, inside is a few weeks ago. Starting to get some shine back!

Thanks everyone. I'm hoping my nerves settle soon
