So a few days ago I thought I was starting with some Braxton Hicks... I noticed my belly getting tight and hard. It seemed early to me (16 weeks) but after I did some reading, I guess its not too uncommon.
Well - today it seems like I was getting them all day... and now my BACK is killing me too! I have this terrible tightness in my lower back. It gets SO BAD any time I walk around... eases up when I sit or lay down.
Now I am wondering if this is BH, or something else, or a combination of BH and something else. Some of what I read said it could be ligament stretching... but that doesn't sound right to me. I don't know ... maybe it is, but it just doesn't seem like it should feel like THIS if it is!
I don't THINK its something to really worry about (yet), but maybe? Anyone else had this? Any ideas of whats going on with me??
i get this too and i had it with my last pregnancy aswell. I think its maybe a combination of BH and normal back pain caused by the growing uterus. Your back arches out when you start getting bigger so it causes back pain. If you are too worried then i would see your midwife.

I hate to call my doctor again... unless I'm REALLY worried. I feel like I keep bugging her with nonsense, and this is my SECOND baby. I'm supposed to know whats up this time around!
