Meds for ms ok or not?

Hi everyone,

Hopefully someone in here can help me with this. I have had bad ms for the last 6 weeks and it is showing no signs of stopping anytime soon even though I am at 12 weeks now. I saw my doctor today and she said "why didn't you call me, I could have given you something to take!?" I was confused because i thought I COULDN'T take anything. She prescribed Prokinyl (Métoclopramide) and told me to take 2 per day. Well, I looked it up on the internet and it turns out that it is not recommended for pregant women (???) Has anyone else taken meds for ms? Is it safe to take? I am so tempted because I can't cope with the ms anymore but I owuldn't want to do anything to harm my baby.

Thanks in advance!

With most medicines in pregnancy it's a case of weighing up the potential risks with the benefits of taking the medicine. I've been on cyclizine for the constant puking on and off since I was 6 weeks. I don't take it much because it doesn't work, if it worked in my opinion then the benefits of taking it are higher. xx
