How do you calm this baby down!?

Okay I admit I've never been extremely smart, but I guess last night I really pushed the limits. I had Mexican food for dinner. Which wasn't spicy I swear. I had way too much salsa and a huge burrito.. How was I supposed to know??

The minute we came home, it started. It really was almost painful and at times actually turned painful. She danced on my cervix I think and it felt like I am getting a pap smear every five minutes. I tried EVERYTHING: talking to her, playing calming music next to my tummy, having OH put his hands on my tummy and it usually worked well - not this time; I also tried walking, jumping, shaking, moving her with my hands. NOTHING helped. She went crazy. My belly looked like it was going through a hurricane! One hour later I was able to fall asleep. Woke up, she started this again. Seriously?!! Oh and to top it off, I am craving the leftovers from last night at 9am..

Any ideas how to calm her down?? She's going to hurt herself jumping like this, and she's definitely hurting me! I can't believe how strong the kicks are at 22 weeks.

bad baby! Mine also has hyper active periods and not really found anything that works. Maybe a warm bath may send her to sleep, but until she changes position she will prob just wake up again and go back to jumping around.

so you think if I get the kicks in my cervix, she's still breech? which is fine, she is not supposed to be head down yet I thought. It really is not very comfortable and I can't move her to play somewhere else it seems. And OMG this salsa!!!! NEVER AGAIN!

You should have seen me last night - I was standing in a doggy position (which made my OH amused and excited lol) and was trying to figure out where she was so I can tickle her into going to a bit more comfy spot. Oh and I was shaking my butt/tummy to get her move. Would have been a funny picture if it wasn't painful!

I just updated my facebook with this.."is wondering whether the baby is going to be musical, she seems to stop kicking everytime I play music :-) x" It seems to be the only thing that calms Abigail down, but I can see you have already tried that Its not exactly calm music either, its John Legend but she hasnt moved for like half hour. She was making me queezy with all the kicks this morning xx

I use to do that same thing with my son when his feet were in my ribs! When he was born he left me with bruises! I did it also when his head on squishing my sciatic nerve to try to get him to move anywhere but where he was so I could walk again.
