Looks good so far

is that a mamaroo I spot in the corner? I've heard a lot of good things about them.
Sure is.. we got that one off OfferUp for $80. They had it for 3 months and their baby hated it.. It's basically brand new.

That's a good deal! they're so expensive that we never tried one as DH wouldn't budge.

Seriously look at what our local Facebook groups. I think it was easy to get one because the company that makes them is based out of Pittsburgh where I live..

Yea our friends swear by the mummaroo, but we decided to go with an ingenuity swing and a babybjorn bouncer. I think the bouncers are good for baby's development. Great idea looking for a gently used one though. What your baby ends up liking is so individual, so I'm sure that happens all the time. We'll have to do that ourselves after the shower.

Awww yay love the crib and glider!

Question, I'm really torn. We're going to assemble the crib soonish, but I'm staring at the box with the crib bedding and mattress and what not. If baby isn't sleeping in his crib until 6 months to a year, is it worth washing the bedding and putting it on now? What if it gets dusty? Because he'll be in my room in a bassinet the first 6 months min most likely.

I'd wash it just in case and put it in a closet. That way, if the rooming-in doesn't work out you can just put everything on quickly.
Putting it on now is something we did, just because it looked nice lol. But it did get dusty and I washed everything again once he moved to his own room.

I'd wash and put it on the crib IMO. You can always lay a thin blanket over it if you really don't use it for months and months. My son slept in the room with us until he was 8 months old, but we still did play time in his room and I practiced naps in his crib as well. I wish I had started practicing naps in his crib earlier...he fought it pretty dang hard by the time we transitioned him completely being in his room. Just a thought...

Moved everything out of the middle of the room and asssmbled crib. The mismatched furniture is driving me nuts but I don't want to shell out money for it lol
