Hi, I just wanted to share my story with you. I have a son, almost 11 years old now and perfectly healthy! Matt was born at 29 weeks, weighed only 3'11 ounces and he came out breathing for himself and only stayed in the nicu for a month just to hit the 5lb mark before they would release him. He had to learn how to suck a bottle(couldnt nurse him) and breathe at the same time. As soon as he could do that he was released and I got to take him home! There is hope! NICU is a lifesaver and as long as you give your baby love, pray for yourself and your baby, have faith in your doctors you and your baby should do just fine! If you ever need to talk please email me
