Awful heartburn experience

Ugh i never suffered much at all with my first pregnancy. Ive had a few evenings when ive had a glass of milk this time. Its gone straight if again, but yesterday was horrible. It literally ruined my day. I took peptac. It went off pain wise but my stomach felt full of liquid. My tea burnt as I swallowed it. Last night i had to leave my house a mess and come to bed. I felt nauseous with it. Thankfully its gone this morning but how can i avoid it coming back.

Does it happen like that daily once u have had it? Any tips other than milk and gaviscon type things? Thank u xx

That sounds horrible hun sorry, heartburn can be so painful! I used tums in my first pregnancy and have got some in again now too. They're not expensive from boots and I find them really good. As you said milk which helps me too. Stay sitting upright as much as you can.
