**TMI DISCHARGE PIC** And a lump?!

I had this discharge this morning when I wiped. It came in 2 globs and is really thick, thicker and rubberier than EWCM but still sticky. I'm 23+3wks today. Is this normal at this stage? I have been experiencing cramps and regular (but not painful) BH for the past couple of weeks but the Dr yesterday was happy it wasn't labour and he put it down to fundal pain and normal stretching and growing.

There is also another thing. When I first thought I might be pregnant I did check my cervix before testing to see if I could tell from that as I had found it reliable before. And I felt a small, squishy lump at the opening of my cervix, about the size of a large pea I guess. Well, I didn't think too much of it as I know cervix changes after pregnancy and vaginal birth is normal to some extent. Well, I just checked it again for the first time since then, the lump is still there, but bigger. Probably about the size of a kidney bean or similar? Maybe a little larger. It isn't painful and is still soft. But, I'm worried. I haven't had a smear yet as each time it's come up I've been pregnant. I would like a Dr to put my mind at ease but don't want them to know I've been poking up there in case I get told off what can I do?!

I would only worry about discharge if it's pink tinged or yellow/green and smelly . As for the lump on cervix , ask your midwife , it may just be hormonal but at the same time you don't want a potential issue that could prevent cervical dilation.

I’ve been getting that type of discharge (on & off) since the end of the first trimester - saw a bit on tissue just today. Mind you, my bits are a little smaller than that, but don’t think that matters. Agree with previous poster that I’d only be concerned if it was tinged with a bit of blood, or giving off a horrible smell.

Not sure about the lump, but def think it’s worth mentioning to someone and getting it checked. Even if just to reassure you and get it off your mind.
