When did/will you start buying baby stuff?

Iím just about to turn 14 weeks pregnant tomorrow. I already have a 5year old girl and I didnít really keep any of her old stuff plus we arenít finding out gender of this baby. With my daughter, she wasnít planned and we were poor students at the time. We bought her very first baby grow after our 20wk scan. My sister and friend have both recently had babies so Iím hoping we can have a fair few hand me downs but just interested in when and what you will buy first? I told myself I would not get sucked into wasting money on unnecessary items but Iím already feeling temptations

We found out the sex of ours on Christmas day, I am now 21 weeks.

The first item I've bought is a nappy bin last week haha. I did go online today to buy some maternity clothes and a few baby grows and socks crept into the basket as well

By the way, I'm the opposite, kept all my daughter's stuff and having a boy this time round.

I bought the first things for DS after our 20 week scan. For this pregnancy my mom bought some stuff when we found out the gender at 20 weeks, but most everything else I didn't buy, wash, or anything until 30 weeks.

I’m 15 weeks and now starting to think about everything we need to buy. I will probably wait until after our twenty week scan to buy the big bits.

We won’t find out the sex either so will only need a few white bits.

OMG, I'm 36 weeks. I have a bassinet, DS3's clothing, nappies and a couple of packets of wipes. So NOT organized but last year was just insane and busy. FIL is going to sort out carseat and I have ordered DS3 his new cot so baby can go into his one but that's all I've done. DS3 has a Diono so baby is coming home at this point, in that but I will have to wash the spare cover and pack the newborn back and head support. I still have yet to order his crib set because the theme I was going with isn't going to work now. I'm hoping I've got it all in place before he's here but it's not looking likely.

I have 3 boys and this little bubba is another boy so I am pretty much sorted for clothes although we did get rid of everything else. I am 27 weeks and have the capsule and bassinet already that I bought second hand and I have bought a few bits and pieces clothes wise new as he is born in a different season to the other 3 who were all summer babies. We aren’t going over the top with this baby he will have the absolute essentials and that’s it. I just really have to buy my clothes nappies and have a friend make my nappy covers and I am pretty much set, but we also have to leave town to have our babies so I have to be organised by 35 weeks for when we leave town.

I don’t think I started buying for and what not with our first until I was 18 weeks but again had to leave town to have baby so needed to have everything set up before 35 weeks and we barely bought any clothes as we didn’t know the gender. People buy so much when baby is born I swear you could probably get away with buying like 3 onesies lol and the gifts would make up their wardrobe!

Probably 24 weeks. I've been devastated too many times. I saw the cutest onesie yesterday and I was so tempted but held back.

I may buy the occasional thing but not too much. I want to know the gender too before buying too much. If it's another girl I probably won't need to buy much anyway!

Im 21 weeks with our third girl and I haven't bought a single thing.

I got rid of everything with my older girls and I mean everything because I said I wasn't having anymore. I then started to creep to the big 40 and panicked.

I really need to start buying ASAP. x
