Yup we bought the minivan. And honestly I love it. It's practically a luxury car with all the stuff they load into it and no one is ever cramped!

I agree.

It has broken my heart going from 2 to 3. Tried every solution to fit the 3 across land rover discovery which is so wide and only way was to put 3 year old into high back booster. 5 year olds in one and baby is in no 1 forward facing seat. No body can strap themselves in as seats cover seat belt clip so i have to constantly pull outside seat out to let 5 year old clip herself in then load in 3 yearnild. After 14 mths im done.
No 4 due in june and ford galaxy coming nxt month. Cannot wait.
I feel until they are all in boosters/booster cushions its just not doable

I am so pleased I read this. We are car shopping tomorrow and this has given me some ideas. After a quick google it seems there are very few cars that will accommodate 3 seats in the second row.

Thank you all for your advice. A little gutted we may have to get another car, ou car still has over a year left on the lease so we are going to have two big cars and only a small drive way. I will keep doing some research and if I come up with a solution I'll update

I don't know if you have Diono's there, but it's a really narrow seat. I have daughter in a Diono Rainier and I could get 2 more across if needed. Good luck on your search.

Could you disconnect airbag, put the new baby in an infant carrier in th front, and have the passenger go in the back?

We have the mothercare Palma and it's pretty slim and safe and fits with a lap belt. Alternatively you could put the baby in the front seat if you do really want to keep them both in their car seats they have now but personally I think a booster would be safer x
Does this seat have a harness?
