Feeling a bit like a psychopath!

My husband has to work away quite a lot for business which is nothing new for us but this time I find myself so angry about it. We have two children at home and the youngest has been poorly this week, I'm still constantly exhausted and sick and working full time whilst taking care of the kids (which I know alot of mums to be also do). My problem is now every evening I see photos of him and his work mates off out for meals and drinks and it actually makes me so angry and I have no idea why. I know it's hormone related but I'm honestly livid about it every evening but don't know what else I actually expect him to do.
I then send bitter or mean responses when he texts me which is just not me. I honestly feel this pregnancy has made me a little bit psychotic!!!

Good god, you are such a strong lady! I dont know how you manage all these, 2 kids, full time job, pregnant and husband is away a lot
This is my first pregnancy, Im working from home and my husband comes home right after work everyday, and yet I have been moody with him on countless occasions
I think the amount of stress you are feeling is definitely so real (I know I couldn`t have dealt with it) and wondering if it will help to talk to your husband about your feeling & frustration, so that 1) maybe he can manage to be around more often 2) he will also understand where it is coming from if/when you get frustrated
Hugs to you hun xxx

I can so relate. Three young kids, part time job and my husband is often away for work and it involves a lot of socialising with customers etc...your not alone!

I am the same! My OH works on an oil rig for three weeks trips and i have 3 kids to look after, pregnant with number 4. I have chronic anxiety issues which have been made sooooo much worse due to the hormones from pregnancy. I def feel like a psychpath! Even though he is working when hes away i begrudge him for getting a full night sleep and when hes home he goes to the gym and swimming every day and comes home all revitalized while I'm just a stressed out mad woman! Normally i wouldn't care but the pregnancy really heightens things, not good lol x

Thanks ladies. So glad it's not just me. I'm usually fine with it all, this has been our life since before we were married and whilst I've always missed him when he's away, it's never bothered me. Now however it's like I resent every bit of down time he gets and every picture of him sat, relaxed eating dinner with friends, with a beer in his hand makes me livid as I don't have that luxury. I need to stop digging at him about it though, it's not like he's doing anything wrong, I guess I'm just jealous he's getting to go out and relax whilst I still feel crap but I know I'll just end up making us both miserable with it.
Worst part of pregnancy is knowing you're being moody and irrational and being completely unable to stop x

hah, if my husband went away for work the moment he got off he better go straight to the hotel to video chat me and order me a pizza so i can cry about how full my stomach feels.

But i'm a controlling codependent attached person, and so is he.
We can't be away from each other,

Sorry

I'd be mad too.
