While i am in the bed sleeping at night even when i am lying on the sofa in the evening i get a sharp stabbing pain in my left hip and i cant even lie on itand the only postion i can get comfy is liying on my right side. Does anyone know what this is? Is anyone else getting this?
I agree, I get it whenever I lay on either side (the opposite side hurts for me from whichever side I am laying on). Helps me to use a pillow between my legs to sleep, but makes it harder to turn over and get up to go to the bathroom (like I do 2-3 times a night still)...ugh!!
oh yes round ligament pain! I got it in the left side at the end of my first trimester, and now im getting it a lot more in the right and just overall midway through my 2nd trimester.
It actually either feels like a stitch or a mild period pain at times, its just the muscles and ligaments growing and stretching to accomodate the over inflated womb. Also I find as baby sometimes kicks me and moves around a lot at certain times of the day my insides feel like they have taken a battering and I feel sore and achy. I guess the bigger they grown the more we pain we have to endure !
