My dog just jumped on my belly :-(

Just after some advice really, i was in bed this morning and my little westie jumped on the bed and his front paw landed on my belly, just to the right of my belly button. It made me go ouch at the time, but i havent had any pain since. Do you think it'll be ok? I know im probably just worrying as he has done it before earlier on and everything has be ok. x x

I wouldnt worry too much. Unless you have any pain or bleeding. I have a german shep and he bashes into me all the time. plus two very active boys that bounce and jump. baby is well protected.

I even had a fall the other day and bubs is fine!

I wouldn't worry, babies are well cushioned. I have a 4 year old ds who is always clambering all over me and my belly!

I wouldn´t worry too much about it. My Rhodesian Ridgeback and Doberman jump on my belly when very excited, and even leave scratchmarks on my belly, but nothing has happened to the babies so far.

My cat once jumped on me while i was laid on the sofa when carrying DD, i was completely relaxed at the time and did have sme pain afterwards but had it checked out and all was fine. Try not to worry too much but if in doubt your MW is there for reassurance xx

My dog is a collie x staffie (one obviously got out with that mix....) and she's always jumping on my belly when Im on the sofa.
I was worried too but on one of my hospital visits the consultant checked my uterus, she pushed much harder into my belly than my dog manages too and it hurt!
That put my mind at rest. My dog caught me hard the other day too, right below the ribs - I screamed but that was a week ago and no bleeding or anything so Ive left it x

Don't worry, my boyfriends dog done the same thing when i was about 10 weeks. Big heavy jack russle! (hate the thing) jumped straight on my belly one morning when i'd just woke up! It sent a sharp pain right through my belly - it did last quite a while actually. I got really upset & worried just as you are, but a couple weeks later i had my scan and LO was wriggling and waving so much! So don't worry - he/she will be fine!

like others have said, shouldn't be a problem!! DD is always clambering over me, and likes to lean an elbow in my tum to help herself up - I tell her to be soft and she comes and stokes my belly, but then does exactly the same thing again!

My 20 pound cat basically used my belly as a trampoline to launch from the top of my couch, onto my belly, then on to attack the other cat. I didn't feel good, but all was fine!
