Advice needed 23 wks and pain

Hi Ladies,

I'm hoping someone can help me. I'm 23wks preg with my little man and this morning i had a really awful stabbing pain right in the centre just above my pubic line, the pain was that bad I couldn't move to sit down but I was doubled over, it lasted about a minute and I have since had it about half hour ago. Do you think it is anything to worry about?

I'd really appreciate any replies..

Was it round ligament pain? Did you move suddenly? Round ligament pain can hurt pretty bad. I don't know, don't be afraid to call your doc or midwife, that's what they're there for.

No I wasnt moving fast or doing anything out of the ordinary, (putting cereal into a bowl actually lol).. I work with midwives and health visitors so I should ask them really, will pick their brains tomorrow, just dont want them thinking I'm a hypocondriact lol, thats why I posted on here first.. thanks for you reply x
