how normal is orange/brown discharge??

I often get a bit of creamy discharge especially during the day as I spend most of my day on my feet!

I came home today though and went to the loo and when I wiped I had brown/orange on the tissue. Wiped another 2 times with the same......

Am trying to stay relaxed about things but I just wondered if it is normal or common?? I know discharge is quite common - any thoughts??

hey hun pregnancy discharge does increase but it should be white or clear! id go get checked dosnt always mean bad things but brown is usually a sign of old blood... i have been having flurescent green discharge and ive been checked for everything and they cant find out! its frustrating but i have a feeling its the pregnancy vitamins doing it!

I would give your midwife a ring hun x

I did read once that you only really need to worry about green, but if its not yellow, white or clear, I'd probably just go get it checked to be on the safe side. Don't worry about it though it is probably normal.

I've had brown/pinkish/orangeish discharge since week 11. Been to the OBGYN twice and everything looks great. Dr. says I just have an overly sensitive cervix and being on my feet a lot or being more active than usual and even constipation could irritate it and cause a little bleeding. he said as long as it's not heavy and I don't have any cramping with it. all is ok....Hope that helps!

Thanks girls - it only happened twice when I went to the loo last night - quite light and then stopped completly.

Funnily enough Chipper, I had a busy day at the hospital on my feet all day yesterday and was a bit constipated - once that 'passed' - it went away...?!?! could be similar to you.

Got MW appoint. next week so will mention it - but all clear for now!!
