constant worrier...

hi everyone

just thought i'd post this to see if anyone else is the same as me or am i completely insane!

well we have made it to 26 weeks and just wondered if anyone knew how safe our pregnancy is? i constantly worry that something bad is going to happen because we had been TTC for a long time and had to go through IVF so i just think how unbelieveably lucky we are and i'm always waiting for someone to burst my bubble!

That is completely normal, and exactly how I feel. We had trouble conceiving and got our BFP due to clomid hun. Everyday I worry, but then I have to remember that I should be enjoying this pregnancy, and so for the most part I do.

We are pregnant at last and it should be a wonderful time, it is natural to worry, but there is a balance. Everything will be fine my lovely, and congratulations on your pregnancy. xx

I worry too hun, but the chances of anything going wrong at this point are really very small. Even if the worst was to happen and you were to go into labour, there's a good chance that, with special care, your baby would survive.

I think that a lot of the ladies on here (myself included) have found this site for support because of problems conceiving, or complications with this (or a previous) pregnancy. If every pregnant woman in the world came on here, we'd probably realise that it is heartbreakingly unfortunate for something to go wrong, especially at this stage. We'd probably also realise though that everyone worries! lol.

I know it's easier said than done, but just try to enjoy your pregnancy and get as much rest as possible before LO arrives! Then it's time to worry about a whole new set of things. I swear, my DD is 4 now and if it were up to me, the lollipop lady would be CRB checked

just to put your mind at ease the lollipop lady probably is checked! anyone working with children have to be checkd (up in Scotland anyway)

back to topic, i'm a rediculous worrier - i have my 20 week scan this afternoon and i'm so so nervous, even though i can feel bubba and know everything will be fine!

Hi Ladies, my stepsister has had 2 healthy lovely little boys via IVF and both pregnancies went smoothly

i worry all the time too, at the moment Im choosing to worry about Listeria after I bought a cheese and tomato sandwich from the office 'sandwich man' this morning and I am now worried the tomatoes weren't washed...

Its natural to worry but dont let it spoil your happiness at being pregnant xxxxx

I think worrying when you have wanted something for so long is completely natural. But try not to let it stop you enjoying your pregnancy, 26 weeks is a huge milestone, you are over halfway there, the end if near your your little baby is getting stronger by the day.

Try and relax abit and tell yourself every day that everything will be fine. There is absolutely no reason for you to think any other way.
