I'm experiencing similar right now. I've had back ache for a few weeks but that has now joined forces with stabbing pains above my belly button and down the sides. I know it's bean's home moving and stretching but doesn't make it feel any better. I had to go home yesterday from work as erupted in floods of tears and stayed home today again as I just can't face dealing with customers today so I'm off to the pharmacist to see what mild pain relief I am allowed to take as so far I have avoided taking anything. I did mention it to the midwife last time about my back and she suggested making a physio referral next visit if it's not gotten better or to see the doc in the mantime if it gets unbearable.
I hate my doc so I think mild pain relief for now and see how I get on. If you have a good doc, go and see them!
pixie- sorry to hear u are in so much pain, mine has never been bad enough to have to take pain relief (although ive often craved a hot water bottle!) think i just worry if its normal or not when i feel anything. really hope u find something to help u soon. by the way, i love your avatar, makes me laugh (and crave a cake!) whenever i see it!
louppey- thank u so much u are my guardian angel reassuring me as always xx
I got period type cramps at 16 weeks and again at 20 weeks. Was really worried as the ones at 20 weeks lasted about two full days. But apparently its quite common to get them when you would have had AF, so it's probably just that. If you're ever worried it's best to get checked out for infections etc, but in my experience period cramps are quite common every now and then. x
