Gender by the sound of babys heart beat

Ok so i just read in pal forum about the difference in the babys heart beat. Apparently a baby boys heart beat sounds like a steam train and a baby girls sounds like a galloping horse. Old wives tale, or has this been true for anyone. LO's sounds like a galloping horse but i dont go in for a gender scan for about another month soo cant really test that theory yet.

The steam train sound is the umbilical cord pulse, the horses is the baby's heartbeat. You should be able to find both, but the galloping horses sound is trickier to locate.

Yup I can get both sound just about every time so I don't think it's true even if it has worked for some people by conincidence.

I had a steam train, but my gender scan has shown we're having a girl, so it wasn't true in my case.
