Changing Station..?

So basically, we've bought a white cot for our little boy, and were hoping for white/beige furniture to go with it..planning on decorating his room beige and caramel as it matches all the bedding e.t.c we have for him and my mum was going to buy us a white chest of drawers with a wide top to change him on top of with a changing mat (which we already have 2 of)....

Anyway, my dad and his girlfriend turned up at our house on the weekend, having been to Ikea and buying this for us... http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/50144765

I love it, it's really handy (the pockets and mat unzip off the frame to go in the wash) and it can fold up to save room...I'm just not sure if I should keep it...
My mum still wants to get us a chest of drawers (which I'd still like as it'll match his cot) and as we already have 2 changing mats I'm not sure we need this aswell.....

Do I keep it and mainly use this, then I can take the changing mats out with me or do I tell my dad we don't need it and ask him to get us something else instead?

Sorry so long, thanks for reading!

I really want one of these for downstairs as I have a toddler at home and can not drag him up to the nursery every couple of hours. Keep it if oyu find after a couple of months you are not using it sell it on then, but oyu may find it comes in very handy

My Hubby seems to really want one but i wont be using it, there is no way i am picking the baby up every time it needs changing at taking it upstairs. My MIL said 'oh you must have one you will be a proper vicky pollard if you dont'....How she knows who vicky pollard is beyond me, Charming though eh.

i say keep it!!! and use the chest your mother is giving you as well, but not for changing purposes...you'll need the extra space to put baskets with toys, maybe a lamp...

as for the 2 changing pads you already have...what about keeping one on your mothers place or somewhere where you could spend time away from home, so you can clean the LO properly?
