question about 20 week scan

hi ladies

just wondered- do they check the length of your cervix when you have your 20 wk scan? or would i need to ask if i wanted this to be checked?

ive heard a few things about imcompetent cervix and its worried me a bit, would they check for this routinely? xx

I don't think they checked mine, I think they are solely concerned with looking at the baby in vast detail. But I would ask about it when you go in x

Hi

ive never had mine checked during any of my 3 pregnancy's at the 20 week scan , you should just ask them and hopefuly they will do it for you

Just had my 20wk scan last week and it was with just an ultrasound tech. No actual Dr in the room. So I would guess that they wouldn't check unless you ask.
