Is it normal for morning sickness to start at 25 weeks?

Hi everyone.

I have been very fortunate to avoid MS for the whole of my pregnancy (I am 25 weeks pregnant with a gorgeous little girl )

....until now

It isn't really bad but it hits me a few times a day. Sickness and nausea.

I just wondered if this has happened to anyone else and if it is normal?

I tried my midwife but can never get hold of her

Thanks everyone

could it be that you have picked up a tummy bug or something or has it been going on for a while. i have started feeling sick again today but had it on and off the whole time.

Thanks for your reply.

It has been on going for just over a week now. It is all down to smells of things. One little smell of something I dont like immediately turns in to a gagging moment and then in some cases sickness. I am fine straight after.

Just hoping it isnt a sign of anything x

you scent of smell might have kicked in. I had this today somebody had eaten a sandwich with onions in and i had to ask them to leave the room. Next minute somebody came in smelling of smoke and even though i am a smoker i started gagging instantly. Every smell i can pick up a mile off.

That sounds just like me. I am really struggling with it. I dont get any warning either...it just hits me! I smoked but gave up when i fell pregnant. I have never had a problem with the smell until a couple of days ago but nearly everything is setting me off and its not getting any better!

Not sure if its normal if you didn't have it in first tri. My friend was very bad with MS and was warned as she'd been so bad in first tri it might come back in third.

Reality she stopped being sick for about a week at the 18 week stage and it came back, she was morning, noon and night sick all through both pregnancies

No such thing as "normal" but its not abnormal either, I've know a couple of women who have had it come back in later pregnancy, I'm also an ex smoker and OH still smokes (only outside) but the smell still sends me running for the sink / loo depending on which is closer - wish he would quit but until he decides to do it for himself its not going to happen. I go through phases when the smell really affects me and other when I don't seem to notice it - hope it improves again for you soon
