Induction or Natural?!

My Mid-Wife always gives the option of being induced a week early, and I said with my first son, I would wait and go natural, but when it comes down to it, i want that baby out lol, what would you guys do, or what are you going to do, when the time arrives??

yeah I think I will most likely do it again, and it gives you plenty of time to prepare!!

I'm not given a choice. haha
i'm forced to go natural unless there are problems or the baby goes overdue by a week or two.

I wouldn't get induced early, but plan on forcing the issue for my due date this time as i went 5 days over with Jasmine and her cord had deteriorated and snapped when they gave it a gentle pull to help the placenta out.

i dont get an option until I am a week overdue, but will still wait to go naturally because the thought of the contractions starting full pelt instead of increasing natural scares me. Though i would rather be induced then a c section

I was induced last time but they dont give you the option here unless you get to 42 weeks. I was dissapointed because i wanted proper real labour which im hoping for this time.
Only good side was that once i had the drip to speed things up, my daughter was born within 3 hours. Was sudden and intense and the pain came on extreme so quick but at least I didnt have to be in agony for too long.

With my eldest my waters broke at 37 weeks, but although I was having regular contractions (or contraptions as my Nan would say ) I didnt progress, they left me try for over 28 hours after my waters went, they were still coming when he was born and had no bump left. They then put my on the drip to speed things up - the contractions then were very strong, with little to no break between them.

My 2nd I had to be induced at 37 weeks as my placenta was not great, I had the pessary in the morning, nothing happened, went to labour ward at tea time they broke my waters and she was born 5 hours later.

3rd was 14 days overdue, 2 lots of gel and born next day. I'm hoping because I'm having braxton hicks (which I've never had before) that I may just know what I'm doing this time and not have to be induced, not that I have a problem with it, just would be exciting to go through the process myself iykwim.

My midwife is not letting me go over at all this time, so will have to hope and pray this one gets a wiggle on from 38 weeks.

I don't want to be induced unless it's absolutely necessary - I just believe that labour will go a lot easier if the baby's ready to be born.
