Got sent home from work

Update on post 15

I feel terrible it's left them really short on the floor only two staff and a manager for a full pub plus waiting list.

Pub was really hot, I was fine for a couple of hours plenty of water and I'd eaten properly today. But then the heat started getting to me and I started feeling lightheaded and apparently I was disoriented as well. duty manager was trying to tell me something and I just wasn't hearing him couldn't understand what he was saying to me at all. so he said "go home now"

Ironically now i'm home I'm freezing ....

Trip to docs tomorrow I think

17 weeks now.

Aw, hope you feel better soon. I had something similar climibing out the shower. Went all strange and everything sounded like it was coming at me through water. Turns out my blood pressure had dropped and took me a good couple of days to feel 'normal' again. Sure you'll be fine, just take it easy and rest while you're home.

I feel like this too if I get overheated and have been on my feet for too long. Don't worry, it is common. When you start to feel woosy sit down, head between your legs and get some fresh air. It may well be your bp adding to it but low bp unless really low isn't a problem for the baby, just you fainting. The only problem would be you fainting and hurting yourself or the baby by falling down so do be careful x
