Kicks more gentle than before, normal? update pg2

So I'm approaching 25weeks and been feeling baby since about 19 weeks giving proper kicks, but the cast two weeks although I can feel her moving still, her kicks seem a lot more gentle, more like the flutters I felt earlier on.
I was expecting them to get progressively stronger, other people I've known have to stop and catch their breathe when they get a kick, but mine are nowhere near that.
Anyone the same, or can offer advise on if it's a bit later on they get stronger, perhaps this is just during 3rd trimester?

your post is something i would have written!!! i've been asking me the same thing.
I guess there's still some space for them to move around and maybe LO is just facing backwards.

Looking to see what other ladies say about this!

So it could be normal then, phew! I think she may be facing the other way actually as I think my bump has changed shape a little and also when I used my Doppler it look a litle longer to get a strong heartbeat sound, almost like she was further away, so the little monkey has gone off for a nosey round my insides
Can't complain in really, if she's happy and I'm not getting beaten up form the inside everyones a winner!

I've had exactly the same thing for the past 4 days or so and it was really getting me worried! I'm feeling flutters now and then, but nothing like I was. Hopefully it's just bubs moving positions or something. I have my 25 week midwife appointment on Thursday so will mention it to her then.

I am so glad you posted this. I have been so worried, like a week or two ago the baby really kicked. No I just feel "things" that aren't strong kicks like before I am so worried. I keep worrying I imagine them or they are gas but...husband says its the baby.

I am in the same boat ladies, I feel as though my kicks aren't as strong as at 20 weeks yet when Dave does kick or move I can see everything, which I couldn't at 20 weeks. I had 3 'busy' days last week and was in heaven with it, then the last 2/3 days hardly anything. I am trying not to stress about it and thinking maybe it's because, although still small, the space is running out for LO to get any velocity behind a kick but perhaps they will feel stronger over next month as LO gets fatter?

I can't say it's position for me as I can feel when the position has changed i.e goes hard when Dave's back is at the front.

I'm seeing my midwife tomorrow so will mention it then.

xx

I've been having the same thing and will defo be asking MW about this. At least there seems to be quite a few of us that are at similar stages that are all feeling this..so that is reassuring. For those that are seeing their MWs soon if you get an answer to this question, pls post and share would love to know why it is. I see mine in a couple of weeks. xxx
