Hormones 2nd Trimester?

Hello All

I had bad hormones in my first trimester, it disappeared at 12 weeks.
I am now 15 weeks & noticed the passed 2 days that I feel so grumpy & feel like I want to cry.
Do women get hormones in their 2nd trimester as well??
I'm having twins, so i'm sure i have double the hormones.

I'm thinking they can get it throughout their entire pregnancy right?
Cause you have all kinds of hormones going on in 9 months of pregnancy, Right?

Anyone feel down, grumpy, in a bad mood & want to cry in their 2nd trimester?
I thought these feelings would disappear in 2nd trimester.

Anyone??

Good lord, don't mention the hormones!! I think I've been worse in the second trimester than I ever was in the first. Yes, hormones will be with you the whole nine months and when they suddenly disappear when LO is born you'll wish you still had them!

Get used to it
I feel like once a week for a day or 2 I have a "hormone surge" .
Where I either, get a headache, or I'm very emotional, or am nauseas.

I feel like it's getting less than it was in first tri, but it's definatly still there.

I don't understand the part when u said ....."you'll wish you still had them". Do you mean once the babies are born, I'll wish i still had the hormones? hahah I think u meant the babies, right?

Just being honest I did mean the hormones though! A lot of women go on a bit of a downer with the sudden disappearance of the hormones they have spent nine months learning to live with. Knocks the wind out of you a bit. As long as you make sure you have good support and keep yourself busy, but not too busy, you'll need your rest too, you'll be absolutely fine!
My hormonal moods are a little different than first tri I have to admit. First tri I could happily have stabbed people for even looking at me but this trimester I'm more of the fly off the handle and throw things or burst into tears or have a little combo of fly off the handle then burst into tears!

Yup, definitely hormone surges. I had the worst of my sickness in week 15 which then continued every few days through until week 20. A family friend who used to be a midwife told my mum that it was very likely that the hormone surges would be responsible and they should ease after about 20 weeks - I say ease not disappear as I still know when I'm getting one, I just don't spend quite so much time checking on my mum's bathroom cleaning skills IYKWIM! Just be kind to yourself, get plenty of rest and if you need to cry..... go for it!

Love it is completely normal! I still have terrible emotional ups and downs and hormone swings. I just about threw my hubby out 2 nights ago because he went out for pizza with a friend!
Hope you will be feeling better soon!

i havent stopped wanting to cry and scream and i always feel like throwing things!!
i think the hormones are giving me bad headaches aswel,
i think they are worst in the 2nd tri, in the 1st tri i didnt even think about it.. i was just excited and shocked,
now its starting to settle in and im panicking..

i found massages and listening to music helps keep me calm tho and a nice relaxing bath
