| Confusion on weeks in pregnancy - help! Hi ladies I am 16 weeks and 2 days pregnant according to my measurements at scans. Does this mean I am in the 17th week of pregnancy (so when I look books etc I should look at 17) or is this the 16th week? Sorry little confused  Thanks xx |

| Ok thanks well that is simpler. I have an app on my ipod that says that I am in week 17 between 27 Oct (when I hit 16 weeks) and 2 nov (day before hitting 17 weeks). This is what threw me and also the book I have which says after X weeks you are then in your next week of pregnancy, so have had 16 weeks so now in 17th week. Does this app/book work it out incorrectly or are there a few ways of working it out? Sorry it is just so annoying not knowing where I am as it is so nice to see how baby is developing  |
