I went to a concert in first trimester, but the baby couldn't hear it yet anyway. It was in a non-smoking hall, and nobody lit up, so everything was fine. I did have my arms protectively over my non-bump in the mosh pit though!

Free tickets - BONUS!! I went to about 17 gigs when pregnant with DS1 (including 3 Brian May gigs and 3 Roger taylor gigs... couldn't make the 4th Roger taylor one as I felt too ill to go - so my friend mum went instead!).

I just used to pace myself the day before - take loads of water .. all gigs were seated apart from Roger in cambridge and they gave me a chair at the back! only thing ds didn't like was the bass guitar solo at the brian gigs... so I used to go off for a loo break then!!! take lots of chocloates and water for the car/train journey back. You will be fine.

I am off to see Mark Shaw (from then jerico - swoon... teen idol crush....) and A-ha in November!! so will be doing the above myself!

I LOVE concerts but cause of cost don't go to many now days. Have had to pass on the christmas gigs I have been going to since 93 due to distance and price. BUT hey November will be good.

The sister of a girl in the office went to a Jay-Z concert when pregnant a couple years ago and to this day her LO still gets excited when he hears Jay-Z. I'm sure one concert won't do any harm. At least there you can be sure the sound quality will be decent too!

I've never been to a concert in my life (i'm 28 and a loser haha jk!) My hubby got the tickets and he doesn't even like ozzy all that much but he figured prolly be the last time to see Ozzy live , it's free and I have never been to a concert. lol I like ozzy some. I a so excited. Going to be a great day that day! Find out of my LO is a boy or girl and then rock out at a concert. Will be staying away from mosh pit lol. Now I was already super excited to find out the sex of my cupcake.. now a cocert to look forward to .. time is going to stand still till that day lol.
Closeest i have been was when lady gaga came to town and i was working at a grocery store as a cashier and her bodyguards came shopping for her and bought a bunch of groceries. I got to scan and bag them while all the supervisors stood around me asking the body guards stupid questions lol. She wa playing at a club right up the road from where I was working.

I don't know how you feel about 2nd-hand smoke, but be forewarned that there will be smoking of several kinds going on there, lol. I've been to many concerts and some of them are guaranteed to be smoking regardless of the rules at the venue (and Ozzy would fall into that category). Just food for thought....

Oh, Ozzy will be great for your first concert! And your scan too! I'd say have a great day, but that seems like a foregone conclusion anyway.
