Hmmm, not sure about olbas oil hun, but it does work wonders! I'd check with the Doc just to make sure, but I would think it to be okay, but I'm no medic so make sure to double check!

Googled Olbas oil + pregnancy and this came up from a baby and bump thread 2 years ago! other stuff I saw on google also said that Olbas oil is a huge no no.

Q Can Olbas oil or Vicks be used in pregnancy?
A Certain oils should be avoided in pregnancy, and this applies to all three of the oils in these decongestants (juniper oil, eucalyptus oil, and oil of pine needles). The fact is that all we know is that these oils may cause problems during pregnancy, and we don't know to what extent they could be used without causing problems.

According to my doctor Its ok for inhaling in steam form or on a tissue under your pillow...but not to rub on your skin. I swear by the stuff for my asthma when it plays up when i get a cold.

you can use the spray decongestants.. I have been from day one as my nose is constantly stuffy and it makes me feel claustrophobic.

I checked when I had a stinker of a cold a week or two ago and the only thing I was allowed was Vicks vaporub which I put in a bowl of boiling water next to me. Wasn 't brilliant but helped a bit. Best thing of all is masses of fluid - I drank litres of dilute squash and it seemed to thin things out iykwim. Hope you feel better soon

My Dr said the same as above I could use the olbas oil nasal inhaler just dont rub it on the skin. I also used vicks in a bowl and forehead for my stuffy headache because paracetamol does not touch it. Hope you feel better soon hun.
