Do any of you need help with maternity clothes?

Hi everyone,

Some of you may know me already from my Fashion Friday posts but some of you may not. When I found out I was pregnant with my second baby I started a blog about my pregnancy. As I work in the fashion industry I ended up talking lots about materniy clothes. I didn't really think anyone else was reading but in August I won a Gurgle Blog Award and now it's read by thousands of people.

Anyway I was wondering if anyone was struggling for outfits or anything maternity related that I might be able to help with?

If you do you can post here or I have a Facebook page

Id love to help you, hope to hear from you soon x

Thanks for that, i am having a problem, i haven't found anything yet that fits, i have a problem fitting into normal clothes, so gawd knows what i am going to get. I am a size 12-14 and when i say prob fitting into normal clothes i mean, Jeans that they make, in new look, river island, H and M, Zara, and Top Shop, i can never ever fit into these when i am not pregnant, as my legs and hips are a bit chubby and i like skinny type jeans. Best ive found to fit when not pregnant in jeans is DPerkins, i need ones with stretch.
so anyway, ive tried jeans in the maternity section in H and M, no good, well tight on the legs, fine on the bump. New looks selection in Brighton is just gross, and Mothercare just as gross so didn't even bother trying on.
I have rang Peacocks, and they do maternity so i am going to go down there and have a look..with high hopes...but not holding out much faith. I am going out in my regular jeans today with a hairband looped through the button hole....oh yea, feel well attractive...lol. Oh and ive gained 11 lbs which dont help.xx

I had a similar problem and I ended up with an amazing pair of Mamas & Papas Jeans - I paid 40 for them but theyve lasted all the way through and I wore them ALL the time. I did a post on jeans at the end of September...

I featured some from very.co.uk too - have you tried theirs?

I don't need maternity clothes yet but I know I eventually will and have looked around for them just to see what's on offer and been a bit disheartened! I have looked in loads of shops for jeans and also some black trousers for work and they all look like they have been designed for short, incredibly overweight, middle aged women with no taste! If I find a pair of nice maternity jeans in a size 10 I find the bump band is for a size 14! Maybe when I am almost about to give birth but for the first 8 months I know I wouldnt be able to wear them!

Yes I need help! Find me a pair of nice fitting jeans/black trousers with an over the bump band (but not an enormous one as I doubt I will get huge and I currently only have a 26inch waist) for a 5'10 woman with size 10 hips, 36-38 inch leg length and not one with excess material hanging around the bum!

Yes...my stats are weird so I was going to always have some difficulty as just finding normal trousers to wear is a nightmare! End up going to topshop mainly but all their skinny jeans are really low cut and I hate low cut jeans!
